Join Pack 61
We welcome all 1st through 5th graders and their families. We do not have a Kindergarten program at this time.
If you are interested in joining Pack 61, please drop by one of our upcoming Pack meetings or grade-specific Den meetings on our calendar. Or send an email to our Recruitment Chair, Cheryl, Cubmaster, or Committee Chair to ask questions.

Application Process
There are two parts to applying to our Pack: Pack Registration and BSA Registration. For new Cub Scout and Adult Leader applications, BSA's online registration will collect the fees for National and our local Council. The Pack collects our own fees.

Annual Fees for 2026-2027
The cost of the Cub Scouting program breaks into the following areas.
New Scouts to Scouting = $265
- $85 BSA National annual fee, supporting program development, online trainings and resources, registration services, and other Scouting resources.
- $85 Pacific Skyline Council annual fee, supporting 3 Council camp properties, 2 service centers, professional staff, local trainings, and program support.
- $80 Pack fee, covering awards, badges, certificates, rank neckerchiefs, activities and supplies for Pack meetings, website, and storage.
- Optional $15 Scout's Life monthly magazine subscription, mailed home with stories, comics, and tips.
Adult Helpers/Leaders = $130
- $65 BSA National annual fee, supporting program development, online trainings and resources, registration services, and other Scouting resources.
- $65 Pacific Skyline Council annual fee, supporting 3 Council camp properties, 2 service centers, professional staff, local trainings, and program support.
- $0 Pack fee. The Pack does not charge for adults willing to help lead and organize as our way of thanking you.
- Note: New adults will need to have a LiveScan background check, which may cost $50-90 in the area.
